- What happens after the 14-day trial?
- Nothing automatic. We never ask for a card to start the trial, so there is no silent charge when it ends. If you want to keep going, you add a payment method and pick a plan; if you don't, the account simply pauses — your data stays available to export.
- How do I cancel?
- One click from Settings → Billing, any time. No phone call, no retention script, no auto-renew trap. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?
- Yes — annual plans are refunded pro-rata for the unused full months. Monthly plans run to the end of the paid month and then stop. Email us and we'll process it.
- How secure are the invoices I upload?
- Invoices are encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per account, and only processed by named subprocessors (Mindee for OCR, our EU hosting). Full detail is on the privacy and security pages.
- Can I export my data?
- Always. Recipes, invoices and cost history export to CSV on demand, and you can request a full account export or deletion at any time under GDPR / nLPD.
- Does Neucelle work without a connected POS?
- Yes. The core loop — snap or forward an invoice, get recipe-level food cost — needs no POS at all. A POS connection (Toast today) adds actual-vs-theoretical variance, but it is optional.
